Chatbot Trend 2020: Forecast by Industry (Finance/Healthcare/E-Commerce)

A chatbot is already so closed to our daily life. So, what is the future of chatbots by industry? The industry to make the chatbot to be focused is finance, healthcare, and e-commerce. A common thing of them is the industries on our daily life.

Let’s see what chatbot services will be introduced in the next year or near future. Basically, most companies will use their chatbot with improved A.I technologies.

E-Commerce

I think that buying something is one of frequent events on our daily life. This action is strongly related to e-commerce. A chatbot of e-commerce will be able to generate regular purchase by analyzing customers’ buying pattern and characteristics, before visiting off-line supermarket or website. Also, through big data, the chatbot will offer what the customers might need with discount coupons.

Recently, even though most e-commerce companies lead purchase from simple push marketing, A.I chatbot will help the customers to be able to make optimized consumption. Also, before buying something, getting various coupons by chatbot will be generalized. At the same time, the chatbot will help them to effectively & efficiently find the products or items they want because there are too much information in everywhere. Effectively finding something is one of the most important needs for the modern people. Therefore, a role of the chatbot is very critical.

Few companies in the e-commerce industry are already doing like this. However, they are on the training. If more developed, there will be a lot of examples on the above. Especially, e-commerce chatbot will be one of the highest growth with introduction UnTact or Chatbot Consumer.

A Chatbot has multi-role in the finance industry. In the near future, most people can do financial works by using the finance chatbot on the messenger platforms. Especially, A.I chatbot will be alternative to finance consultants or finance managers having high education. A.I chatbot will automatically find and join the best financial products, which is based on analysis of the big data.

And, it is expected to introduce a lot of chatbot-only financial products. Until now, chatbot is not the main digital channel. However, with improvement of A.I technologies, it will become one of the main digital channels. Therefore, finance companies will release chatbot-only products with easy process and lower entry barrier.

As expected life time will be increased on worldwide, a potential of healthcare industry has been higher. Especially, with increase of one person household, interest of healthcare must be exploded. With trend, A.I chatbot for healthcare will meet these demands. Recent healthcare chatbots just have simple functions, such as FAQ or reminder. However, soon, those chatbots will become personal doctor with A.I technologies.

I expect that A.I healthcare chatbot will be released as subscription service like NETFLIX. Also, they can be applied to various platforms, such as human robot or TV.

Although healthcare market’s possibilities and potentials are so high, there are a lot of assignments about legal issues in each country or conflicts to the existing workers(like doctor and nurse) in the same industry. In spite of, many healthcare chatbots is being already released, and in the next year, more than one remarkable healthcare chatbot will be introduced.
